How did we celebrate last year? Inspire yourself
Your call for birthday donations can be in a form of the article. It is the way chosen by Evina who has approached us from Canada. She has chosen the project Zivot bez závislostí that helps kids from dysfunctional families.
Janka was a bit indecisive and chose three projects rightaway. Her call inspired people to donate 500 Eur. They have helped in Ukraine through organisation Úsmev ako dar, the next selected project serves to help young talented Roma kids through organisation Divé maky and the third one supports nonprofits to benefit from pro bono legal services in program Attorneys pro bono. „I wouldn't miss traditional presents. I did not think of it for a second. Flowers would fade. This is the way I can be sure that something would last," remembers Janka of her experience with donating birthday.
