On May 21st, Restaurant Day theme for the NGO Navrat was completely linked to our regular activity, as this day was placed under the sign of the children.
All the food proposed to the audience was colorful and a reminder of our childhood food.
The activities following the degustation were composed of funny games shared by the families present at the event. Everyone was able to enjoy a very friendly afternoon under a perfect spring sun, while learning more about adopting a child and the challenges faced by those who have already done it. Sharing moments of life with children is the best way to make them feel entirely part of the family.
On this day, we tried to raise awareness about our activity by reproducing a game afternoon as such as the ones usually done during our support sessions. We truly believe in the power of games, fun, and creativity to bond people and especially families together, even when the situation is a difficult one. That is why we chose to make a giant playground during Restaurant Day. We thought it would be the best way of showing people how we work.
Thanks to your donations, we are able to carry on more and more activities, either directly with the families facing difficulties after an adoption, either with a more general audience, to make people aware of our goals.
We wish to continue being able to do such activities, and we hope to see you next year for our traditional Restaurant Day!
