We thank you for your generous support for our campaign, “Delhi's Homeless need urgent support this winter”.
December signals onset of harsh winters in Delhi and it starts to haunt homeless people living on streets. This year with your support we were able to help the homeless living in and around the shelter homes of Delhi from the beginning of December till the end of January.We conducted night vigil, through the Night vigil, we covered all street of Delhi and reached out to more than 400 people and have supported them for two months. The purpose of the vigil is to create awareness about Govt. run shelter facilities and to guide and facilitate the homeless people to the nearest shelter home. Also, we rescued and help the people who needed medical attention and care. Most importantly, we distributed woollen, blankets and food packets to needy homeless people on streets and distribution of nutritious food in the early morning to the people at the shelters especially in South Delhi for almost 60 days. Your continued support can help us to contribute in improving the situation of shelter homes and homeless.
