For Deaf cricket players in Pakistan, cricket is more than a sport. It represents hope, confidence, teamwork, and the opportunity to showcase their talents.
At Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF), we are committed to empowering Deaf individuals through education, skills development, employment, and sports.
The Challenge: Transportation Remains a Major Barrier
Our Deaf cricket players are passionate about representing their communities, but transportation remains one of their biggest challenges.
Traveling to training sessions, cricket grounds, and tournaments is often difficult and expensive. Without reliable transportation, talented players risk missing valuable opportunities to practice, compete, and grow.
Our Dream: A 20-Seater Van
Through GlobalGiving Project #74999, we aim to arrange a dedicated 20-seater van that will provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation for Deaf cricket players.
This vehicle will help our players:
Your Support Can Change Their Journey
Our commitment remains strong, but we still need financial support to make this dream a reality.
Imagine 20 passionate Deaf cricket players traveling together, communicating through sign language, sharing their excitement, and stepping onto the cricket field with pride.
Your donation is more than support for a vehicle. It is an investment in equal opportunities, inclusion, and the dreams of Deaf athletes.
Together, Let's Drive Their Dreams Forward!
We sincerely thank our supporters and everyone who believes that disability should never limit talent or opportunity.
Please consider making a donation and sharing our project with your friends, family, and networks.
Every contribution, big or small, brings our Deaf cricket players one step closer to the field.
With gratitude,
