Our goal with COVID Response was to increase our food distribution to meet the higher needs brought on by COVID and to implement new service models to serve and distribute food safely.
COVID Response Updates (From March 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021):
- 26,338,865 pounds of food distributed through 300 partners, thanks to the help of 1,036 Dare to Care volunteers contributing 8,592 hours.
- 5,309,925 pounds of food delivered to neighbors through 101 monthly Mobile Pantry and Get Fresh stops.
- 253,240 meals provided to children by our Community Kitchen and 446,404 pounds of food distributed through 69 School Pantries.
- 13% more food distributed than during this time period last year, thanks to the support of community partners and donors, like GlobalGiving.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
