Respected donor,
With your generous support, we have completed the initial relief work and now we are on further rehabilitation work.
As a initial relief, We have provided relief materials such as 5 kg rice, dal, cooking oil, biscuits, blankets, towels, dhoti, sarees, medicines and tarpaulins in 6 villages for 1210 cyclone survivors in Nagapattinam and pudukottai districts.
This relief measures save the survivors from worries, hunger and death. Children are being protected from disease and lack of nutrition.
In continuation of our phase-1 rehabilitation, we have distributed coconut plants to farmers to plant for their livelihood. Most of the GAJA cyclone affected areas, coconut trees are their main livelihood cultivation, which gives them continued income throughout the year.
Now we arranged further coconut plants for distribution. Most of our beneficiaries digged pits to plant. Since this is hot summer, we adviced them to keep the pits fully exposed for sun to dry till right time to plant.
We are requesting your kind support for further rehabilitation works.
Thank you for your immediate generous support to save the badly affected cyclone victims.
Thank you and regards.
