Barriers to Girls’ Education

Two major obstacles continue to hinder girls’ education:

Limited access to schools, resulting in few educational opportunities.

Transportation difficulties, causing many girls to drop out of school.

In addition, social and cultural pressures often lead parents to marry off their daughters at a young age, further limiting their chances to complete their education and pursue personal growth.

Cycling to Success

To overcome transportation barriers, Joy Foundation launched a project that provides bicycles to school-going girls, enabling them to attend school regularly and continue their education.
