Joy Foundation has been supporting young women for their education. In a country like Pakistan, where people still don't find it important for girls to get education. These practices are still common in rural areas. as urban areas have developed and people have understood the rights of girls and women and are more open to equality. But sadly it is the opposite in majority of rural areas. Their common concern is how will the girls travel, their school are far away and its easier for boys to take buses or go by cycles. They think that education is for boys because they are able to travel but not important for girls because because they don't have means to travel and most likely end up at home doing house chores.
Through this project Joy Foundation wants not only to provide the girls with cycles and make it possible for them to recieve education but we also aim to create awareness for parents on the rights of girls and make them understand the need of equality for their girls. This will create a large impact. It will be easier for girls as well as cycles will be a means of travel for them and receiving education even if their schools are far would be easier and accessible for them. We thank all those who donated and we are looking forward to your support to reach out as many girls as we can and achieve our goal.
