CONCAUSA is a programme that seeks to promote the empowerment and leadership of adolescents aged between 13-17 years old through social and environmental innovation projects.
In five years, it has managed to mobilise 20,000 young people for causes linked to the SDGs, supporting the creation and consolidation of a network with a presence in more than 21 countries. Furthermore, its representatives had participated in major international events: the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25); the World Youth Conference (COY-15), and the Youth Climate Action Summit in New York, among others.
This year, 73 young activists from 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean gathered in an online format, between the 23rd and 27th of September, to celebrate the fifth edition of Concausa.
We remind you that this programme is a co-creation between América Solidaria, ECLAC and Unicef.
Attached we share some photos and videos of the virtual event. And shortly we will have the complete and final summary video of ConCausa2030 of this special year.
