This month we celebrated Abortion Provider Appreciation Day!
At Women’s Health Specialists, we are proud to be part of a long history of abortion care. There have always been abortion providers, and there will always be abortion providers. Abortion care is etched in our herstory and written into our future.
Our team works every day to ensure people can access abortion care on their own timeline, in their own community, with a provider they trust.
Providing abortion care is an act of love, hope, trust, and liberation. It is steady, resolute work rooted in community and carried forward across generations.
Our community, clients and supporters celebrated Abortion Providers Day with us by sending thank you notes digitally and handwritten notes within out clinic sites! Each note let the staff know how much they matter to them and our communities. Many notes were uplifting messages supporting the women and individuals on the frontlines of keeping abortion care accessible.
We are proud to do this work today and every day. Abortion will be here as long as we’re here, and we’ll always take care of each other. Our futures demand it.
