Technology and access to it is important for modern living- in Denver and Meru, Kenya. The schools and programs we work with in Kenya, have overcrowded classrooms and few learning supplies. Digital learning programs can be a fantastic supplement when resources don't allow for a decent student : teacher ratio. A new curriculum we are preparing to purchase will teach digital literacy along with critical thinking, literacy, numeracy and other skills. The students will learn spreadsheets by entering data and word processing by producing documents. The new curriculum is engaging and breaks away from rote learning and gives the students a chance for active and project based learning.
Thank you for continuing on this journey with us! Kenya is racing towards the future and it is a privilige to a part of their progress
