Fourth graders at Boulder Country Day are going to buddy up with Class 4 students at Kaaga Primary for a learning exchange! The students at BCD will fundraise to support the internet connection at Kaaga.
Students from both schools will have the extraordinary experience of learning from each other and jointly working on projects through google docs, etc. The teachers in both schools are working together to find ays for students to produce finsihed reports in collaboration with each other. Each group of students will learn how to collaborate acriss culture and time zone. We will learn what life is like for their peers and the different ways that effects how they approach their learning. Students will also share about their environment, family life, food, religion, etc. Additionally, they will gain digital skills communicating and working on these projects.
We know that these experiences are priceless. We need continied support to connect other schools in Meru so that the students there can have this learning experience!
