Announcing Plan B

Announcing Plan B!

Due to the urgency of moving the animals out of the house because of the insurance increase (homeowners insurance now costs more per month now that the mortgage payment!) we have developed Plan B.

Plan B is to remodel the current barn so that it can appropriately house most of the rest of the animals inside. Currently the rabbits and guinea pigs are in the lower half of the barn where it is insulated heated and air conditioned. Remodeling would create living space on the top half that is also insulated heated and cooled and finished to the standards we must meet with our USDA license. The animals will be rearranged for more efficient use of the space. They will still be free range and have plenty of room. Having the majority of the animals outside of the house will lower our insurance costs thus giving us time to regroup.

We need to raise $20,000 to remodel the barn by the end of this year. Across all platforms we have raised $7500 so far.

We hope you will continue to support our efforts as the only 501c3 USDA licensed all volunteer sanctuary to accept only small and unusual unadoptable pets in the US.

Here are some of the cuties you are helping!

Thank you so much for your support!
