The 2014 Intercultural Day of Creative Minds International Academy was celebrated on December 5, 2014 at the school’s Assemble hall in Jos Nigeria. The  heme of the event was“The Role of Culture and Tourism in Peacebuilding” and empowered participants on how culture and tourism can be used a tool for promoting sustainable peace and national development.

The CMIA Intercultural Day brought together representatives from the Ministry of Education, Educators and Teachers from invited Colleges and Schools in Jos, Religious Leaders, Traditional Leaders, Community Leaders among others. Major hightlights and actvities included paper presentations, varieties of traditional meals, fashion shows, cultural dances, entertainments, prizes, among others.

Founded in September 2007, Creative Minds International Academy is a Jos, Nigeria-based model coeducational school empowering students with tools for critical thinking to investigate information and inter-connectedness of all life, and then make wise decisions for sustainable relationships with each other and with Earth herself. Our goal is to become an educational institution of international standing and outlook, achieving excellence through scholarship, teaching, learning, research and service to our world.

The school which is registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and fully approved by the Plateau State Ministry of Education (MOE), and also accredited by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) operates Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary academic programmes and have produced a lot of ‘creative minds’ over the past few year.
