On October 23, 2014, Biology and Geography students and Staff of Creative MInds International Academy embarked on an Educational Visit/Excursion to the Jos Wildlife Park. The essence of the visit was to enable the students have a first-hand knowledge and experience of some animals and their botanical names.
While at the Wildlife Park CMIA Staff and students were received by an official of the Jos Tourism Board, named Mr. Isiaka, who gave the visitors an extensive lecture on the development and importance of tourism. The Staff and students were later taken around the Park to see the animals. Some of the animals seen at the Jos Wildlife Park included Lions, Tortoises, Crocodiles, various species of Birds (Eagle, Vulture, etc). The most friendly of all the animals visited was the Giant Elephant, which even allowed to students to touch and feed it with weeds.
