Hello and Happy Spring!
Companion Star has engaged and all female design team for dream seminar/drömseminarium. They are hard at work. In the last report we introduced you to Anna Helena Kuukka, our Lighting Designer from Finland. Today we introduce you to the rest of the design team.
They are Costume Designer Tove Berglund of Sweden and Video Designer S. Katy Tucker of the USA. Below are excerpts from their bios and pictures are attached of them both. Please visit the links to their websites to discover more about their amazing work.

Tove Berglund is a graduate of the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. During the past ten years she has worked on projects in various fields such as contemporary dance, musicals and opera, fashion photography and classical theatre. In her costume designs she often explores the conventions of present hierarchies, gender and “good taste”.
Tove has designed costumes for Gottsunda Dans och Teater, Ad Undas, Den Norske Opera & Ballet, costume design, Södra Teatern, Stockholms Stadsteater, and Theatre Academy Helsinki.

Katy Tucker is a video and projections designer based in New York City. Katy began her career as a painter and installation artist, exhibiting her work at a variety of galleries, such as The Corcoran Museum in Washington, DC and Artist’s Space in New York City. In 2003, as her video installations became more “theatrical,” Katy shifted her focus to video and projection design for the stage.
Since 2003, Katy has worked all over the US and world including Broadway, Off-Broadway, The Metropolitan Opera, The New York City Ballet, Carnegie Hall, The Park Avenue Armory, BAM, Disney World, Kennedy Center, San Francisco Opera, and more.
In our next report we will have designs for you to view. We are very excited about what this team of designers is working on and we can't wait to show you their work.
