By Andrew Rowland | Chair of the Board of Trustees
We are sorry for the delay in providing you with this brief update - we are four volunteer trustees and we focus all of our work on maximising the benefit we can bring to children from donations to our charity (and to fundraising) and therefore this has resulted in this very brief report coming out later than we hoped it would be able to.
We are delighted to have received sufficient funds to the UK-arm of our charity to be able to make a substantial donation of sensory equipment (to provide a bespoke, and brand new sensory space) to an NHS organisation working in the community in Manchester. This organisation works with children who are referred having suffered from possible child abuse, and also with children who are cared for by the state, and we know that this donation of sensory equipment is going to be invaluable to them.
We aim to have the equipment in place by the end of this financial year and will send through photographs as soon as we can.
Thanks for your support and your help and please do bear with us as we work hard to get the equipment ordered, delivered, and installed and to get the space set up.
With best wishes,
#TeamSicKids
