We've had a very successful year and are now on a brief hiatus as we prepare for the fall semester.
Whew, we trained a lot of teachers this year! They have responded so well and been very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this unique program. As we worked with teachers, we heard a lot about how they need more support from administrators on this issue. It became clear that administrators need to understand that silence does not feel like support to teachers - especially when addressing homophobia in class.
We added a training for administrators and Skyler did a fantastic job helping them discover how they can create a safer school environment for teachers and students who are affected by homophobia. Here's a few of their comments:

We're happy with the progress we are making and hope we can raise the funds to reach more teachers and administrators in the upcoming school year. Thanks for helping to make this program possible!
