Project Report | Nov 24, 2025
Vavylove community cinema initiative

By Legal Development Network | Project Leader

Dear friends and supporters,

I am glad to share an update on our project. Your support and attention to this idea are helping us turn an empty and damaged village club into a lively cultural space for young people and the entire community.

What has been accomplished

  1. Repair and electrical restoration
The village club has undergone important repairs. The stage has been restored, and the electrical system has been renewed. These improvements created a safe and functional space where a future cinema room can operate reliably.

  2. Active participation of local youth
Around fifteen teenagers between twelve and seventeen years old have taken part in planning and shaping this project. They help organize volunteer activities, assist with small repairs, and share ideas about films, discussions and events. Their involvement is a sign that this space will be truly community driven.

  3. A space with a larger purpose
The future cinema is not just a place to watch films. Young people in Vavylove want a safe and comfortable environment where they can gather, exchange ideas, play board games and simply spend time together. The project will help reduce isolation and encourage positive communication in the village.

  4. Fundraising progress
We are continuing to raise funds for essential equipment including a projector, a screen, chairs and interactive materials. These items are necessary to complete the transformation of the room into a real cinema and community hub.

Why this project matters

Vavylove is a village of about four hundred residents, with approximately one hundred children and teenagers. Many of them have very limited access to recreational or educational spaces. A cinema and discussion room can support emotional well-being, encourage creativity, strengthen social ties and bring joy back into everyday life.

What comes next

We will continue fundraising and preparing the space for its final setup. After securing the equipment, we plan to begin regular screenings, conversations and social activities. The opening event will be a celebration for the whole community and an important moment of renewal for Vavylove.

Thank you sincerely for believing in this project. Your support brings us closer to creating a warm, inclusive and inspiring place for children and families in the village. Every contribution helps us move forward.

With gratitude,
Legal Development Network team
