This project will create a Child-Friendly Space at the Community Center in Niklovychi village, providing 35 rural children with a safe place for play, learning, creativity, and emotional support amid the war. Equipped with educational games, creative materials, and child-friendly furniture, the space will help reduce social isolation and provide year-round opportunities for children to learn and grow, build friendships, and develop confidence.
In Niklovychi village (Ukraine), 35 children have no preschool, development center, or safe indoor space to play, learn, and socialize. The only children's area is a small outdoor playground with limited equipment that can be used only in good weather. Amid the war, this increases the risk of social isolation and emotional stress. As a result, children have limited opportunities to socialize, learn through play, and participate in community activities throughout the year.
We will create a Child-Friendly Space at the Community Center in Niklovychi, where 35 children can play, learn, socialize, and receive emotional support throughout the year. The space will be equipped with educational games, creative materials, child-friendly furniture, and activity areas. Through the Citizen Token System (CTS), community members will also be encouraged to volunteer, organize activities, and support the space, helping create additional value for children.
The project will provide 35 children in Niklovychi with year-round access to a safe indoor space for play, learning, and social interaction. It will reduce social isolation, improve children's emotional well-being, and create more opportunities for friendship and development amid the war. The Child-Friendly Space will continue serving local children and families after the project is completed, helping ensure that future generations have a place to learn, play, and grow together.
