SVBC wants to thank all the supporters this year for helping to make our year a huge success. With effective advocacy in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties, we have seen cities taking on new bike plans and adopting Vision Zero policies, corporate partners pledging funds for expanded bike infrastructure, an increase in students receiving bike education, and the area's first large scale open streets program.
We have met our fundraising goal for this project, and we will therefore be deactivating it. However, if you wish to support SVBC in the future, please take a look at our next project, "Support Vision Zero: Make our streets safe for all." We recently released the Vision Zero Toolkit, a guidebook for cities with concrete strategies for implementing Vision Zero - the goal to eliminate fatalities and life altering injuries on our roadways. Our role is to urge and support cities to adopt Vision Zero as a policy, create a Vision Zero plan, and put policy into action using the Toolkit.
