Our 3-D printers are hustling and bustling!
After finding a suitable face shield design and the appropriate man power, we are beginning to print the 3-D printed parts of the face shields to be distributed to various hospitals in Bangalore, India. We are focusing our attention on creating a prototype that can be thoroughly tested before we begin printing the rest.
As the COVID situation continues to manifest and unfold, medical professionals will still need our help in staying protected as they continue to protect us. With the funding that we currently have, we will be able to provide roughly 100 face shields. We know that the need is much larger than this. Given the 3-D printer set ups that we have, we have the capacity to cater to a much larger number with your help.
