Post Covid Relief for Communities in India

Regular handwashing is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others. Whether at home, work, travelling, or in the community, discover how handwashing with soap and water can protect you and your family.

The IDF team is dedicated to spreading awareness of Coronavirus through different modes of activities in schools as well as in communities, and we focus on providing sustainable solutions to stay away from germs. We teach children that a simple way to wash their hands for at least twenty seconds will keep them healthy and germs-free.

In the first quarter of 2023, Team IDF conducted many hand-washing awareness sessions in the schools for children and the community for women and reached more than 600 beneficiaries. We have distributed hygiene kits free of cost to all the children and women to spread awareness towards healthy hand wash practices.

Our activity-based workshop helped to mark the great success, and beneficiaries learned how to wash their hands with soap to stay healthy and germs-free.

During the workshops, schoolchildren looked excited and happy to learn hand washing through playing activities. Our team collected testimonials from a few children;

A student of class 5^th Amit (name changed), said, “Today I enjoyed a lot and received a kit that includes paste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, masks, and stationary items. I wash my hands before and after having a meal. Today, the teacher told us to wash our hands in five simple steps with singing. I love singing, and it is more exciting to wash my hands while singing”.

More than 600 children participated and received hygiene kits that included soap, sanitiser, masks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
