Post Covid Relief for Communities in India

Greetings from the Indian Dreams Foundation!

In our previous report, we mentioned that our IDF team is dedicated to spreading awareness of Coronavirus through different modes of activities in schools as well as in communities and we focus on providing sustainable solutions to stay away from germs. We teach children that a simple way to wash their hands for at least twenty seconds will keep them healthy and germs-free.

Our team conducts activity-based Hand Wash and Personal care workshops in different schools and distributes hygiene kits free of cost to the children.

Recently, we conducted an awareness generation workshop on 10th August 2022 with the first batch of children; the details of the workshop are mentioned below;

Venue of the workshop           : Government Primary School Kakretha, Agra

Target beneficiaries                : Children age group 8 to 14 years

No. of Teachers’ attended      : 6

No. of Participants                  : Approx. 60

Details of Activity                    : Hand Wash activity with Soap & Water and personal care

Hygiene kits comprise            : Soap, Sanitizer, Toothpaste, toothbrush, and shampoo.

The school principal’s said “It was such a good opportunity for our school children to attend this interactive workshop on hand wash. We are happy that our first batch of children has received knowledge through this workshop. The total number of children’s strengths in my school is 256. I really appreciate the IDF team for conducting workshops with small groups of children to reach every child's impact fully”. Project Coordinator

Nisha (name changed) IDF team member said, “We will soon conduct another workshop in the same school as well as in the new partner schools”.
