Hi friends,

Greetings from the Indian Dreams Foundation!

IDF is rigorously spreading awareness of Coronaviruses through different activities in communities as well as in the schools. During a global pandemic, one of the cheapest, easiest, and most important ways to prevent the spread of a virus is to wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

Frequently, hand washing with soap and water is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and the first line of defence against COVID19. Like a cold, coronaviruses are spread through droplets from a person coughing or sneezing and via contaminated surfaces. Good hygiene is key to avoiding spreading it and catching it.

We conducted many awareness generation workshops on healthy hand wash practices and recently we conducted an awareness session in two government primary schools in Agra.

Our team taught school children to be sure to wash their hands;

• After using the bathroom, sneezing, coughing or blowing their nose.

• Before eating meals or snacks.

• Immediate after coming inside from playing outdoors.

• Before and after touching pets and other animals.

• Before and after visiting or taking care of sick people.

More than 200 children participated and received hygiene kits that include soap, sanitiser, masks, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc.

Thanks, everyone for your support!

Regards, IDF Team
