It was very great moments for children as they took their time to have small games and plays. The games which are held at Geta play ground bring more than 73 children from across Geta. The events aim at helping different children who were affected by the post election violence to heal. As the game are on children share their feelings and requested to continually host this events for them. As Maria says “Haki mimi nina furaha kucheza na watoto wengine. Najisikia kuwa uhuru na mwepesi sasa. Naeza enda shule na nisome zaidi” (surely am very happy playing with other children. Am feeling being free and light now.i can go to school and work extra hard). Maria was saying these inspiring words in swahili. We are very happy that the children are getting on well.
