Gram Vikas Trust, Bharuch has started new project "Heroes For Humanity" innovative solution to bring more support in this time of crisis in India. These Heroes of Humanity will allow us to impact the lives of thousands more people with food, supplies, COVID testing, access to medical interventions, and so much more in the most rural communities - which are radically underserved and overlooked. The program also economically empowers families in this turbulent time. This aligns perfectly with our philosophy of bringing both urgent solutions in a time of crisis, while building long term sustainable programming to support communities. We believe that when innovations are designed to address both the short and long term needs of the community - it lends itself to more sustainable and reliable programming for the people we serve. It is 6 month program; can be extending in future if it gets succeed.
There are total 34 volunteer and each volunteer will cover 5000 people for following activities:
1. Preparing Village Profile; Conducting Awareness regarding Vaccination and COVID -19; Distribution of Various kits ( Ration, Hygiene); Awareness regarding Tele Support and helpline Number; Door to Door Primary Health Check up through allotted medical equipments; Data Collection and Surveys and other outreach programs as and when come(prior information will be provided)
2. Responsible for Monitoring, providing Guidance, and work/task to Community Facilitator (CF ), Need to keep track of all the activities carried out by CF in and off Fields, providing training, taking weekly meetings, surprise visits to fields ; Even have to provide logistics help to CF in all, he is the one who will look after Community Facilitator working and reporting to supervisor.
3. The role of Tele Supporter/ Helpline number will be calling and reaching out to people from their home through calls and spreading COVID -19 awareness as per drafted document (training will be provided for the same) and will have to record in terms of data entry of the interaction happened by volunteer with beneficiaries and all reporting will be done to Area Coordinator directly.
