We are reaching out to express our immense gratitude for your support of Jake's Network of Hope's GlobalGiving project, "Help Older Adults Enjoy Quality Life, Community." Your support makes a direct impact on the lives of seniors, providing them with autonomy and dignity.
Engaging in activities and maintaining community connections is crucial for the health and well-being of our aging population. Unfortunately, adult incontinence can be a substantial barrier for seniors, causing shame and isolation which can further exacerbate poor health outcomes. With over 10% of seniors living in poverty and nearly 50% of all seniors experiencing adult incontinence issues, providing adult care essentials is more critical than ever.
Thanks to your generous support, Jake's was able to provide adult care essential hygeine and incontinence supplies to over 3,000 seniors in our community in 2024. This keeps seniors engaged in the activities they love, and empowers them to participate in their community with dignity and peace of mind.
As we move onward into 2025, we are committed to supporting our seniors and providing those in need with adult care essentials. We will be working closely with our partners to ensure that we have a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the individuals they serve so that we can be as strategic and impactful as possible when it comes to making a difference in the lives of our aging community members.
