Jake’s acts as the bridge between product and people, managing the procurement, sorting, storage and distribution of hygiene products and basic needs items. We work directly with other 501c3 nonprofits, schools or faith-based organizations to reach people in need.
Since the beginning of 2023 through mid-March, we received requests for 3,100+ adults in need of incontinence supplies. Here’s a look at the stories behind those needs, from the words of our partners:
“We just received a call from one of our 89 year old men the other day stating how thankful that he was to be able to get his depends, and to not be so embarrassed trying to get a ride to a store and then have to figure out what he needs. He farmed his whole life and he doesn't get much of an income now, and he lost his wife recently who did everything for him. So he is so grateful for the extra help we can provide him with incontinence items.” — Amanda Wiechman, Advocap Food & Nutrition Neenah
“The hygiene products have provided people with disabilities opportunities to feel safe and healthy throughout their communities.” — Kandi Neuber, Kanceptional Foundation
“Jakes has been a wonderful program for our organization! The difference it has made for individuals is huge at this time in history with high prices and fixed incomes. It is a blessing for our elders in this community. We love Jake’s and the difference this partnership makes in our community. — Marlon Skenandore, Oneida Emergency Food Pantry
