This is a year of uncertainty here in Uganda, Covid 19 pandemic has created more challenges in our communities than never before, President and Member of Parliament elections have too created unconducive political environment hence an uncertainty for the future.
Schools partially have opened up, as for Grace Orphanage School candidates and semi candidates are back in classroom and we hope by end of June 2021 the rest of the children will be approved by the ministry of education to resume.
We have put on hold ground breaking for the four classroom block because of the uncertainty with our political environment in Uganda, however we hope by June 2021 after the swearing in of the new president is done we shall start the construction when politically we are stable.
We kindly appeal to your continuous support to our project because more learning space is needed now than never before because of the government regulation due to Covid 19 pandemic which requires more space creation in classrooms. For us who already lack enough learning space (classrooms) it is a bigger challenger.
Out of US $15,000 needed we have only raised US$2,434, we know you are highly affected by the pandemic as us too but we kindly request in case you can please you can monthly contribute what you can to help us put up this building and have the orphanage school run smoothly.
May your hand which will give be reward abundantly, be bless and keep safe!
