AWARENESS OF BATS PROTECTION TO THE SHG MEMBERS
As the bats species are destroying day by day, we need to create awareness among the people where these species are abundantly found. For this purpose we convened the meeting at two places as follows

We chose two SHG groups from each area. Our aim is not only to make awareness among SHG members but also to encourage them to take actions to protect and preserve the destroying bats species. On 14.05.12 from 2 SHG groups 23 women participated in the training programme at Nandagopalapuram. It was emphasized in these two meetings that it is our bounden duty that we must protect the bats species and they are destroyed by the super station about bats would be a remedy for Asthmatic patients. Also some people think that bats have many medicinal effects. Because of this reason also Bats are disintegrated. If these species are destroyed in these manners these species would be vanished fully. This was emphasized clear. This programme was very fine because all the members with the determination to protect the bat species from their destruction and on 23.05.12 at Sottaiyan Thoppu in 19 members from 2 SHG groups of Sottaiyanthoppu. Mrs. Banumathy and Mrs. Mary respectively offered the awareness training to the participants.
