‘Golu’ and ‘Monty’ was in a bad condition after their owner abandoned them. They searched for food and shelter everywhere but failed and started living on the road. One night both were crossing the road searching for food when a speeding truck hit them. The younger brother Monty died on the spot where Golu was saved by luck but injured himself severely. A cow rescuer immediately took him to Ahmedabad Panjrapole (Abandoned Cow Shelter) and contacted Jivdaya for his treatment. Our team went to Panjrapole and treated Golu but unfortunately, Golu lost the vision in his right eye.
Presently, Golu is recovering from his physical and mental trauma but thankfully now he has a roof over his head, and he will never go hungry again. Also, there are a group of loving people taking care of Golu and many abandoned cows like him around the clock.
