ConservationNation works with school going children to educate them about the importance of the environment and the role they have o play in protecting it. In addition to environmental education, the initiative also works to plant trees and implement locally relevant and sustainable interventions to the challenge of climate change.
While the initiative continues to make strides, challenges remain in terms of meeting our fundraising goal. He lack f funding mean partners schools and villages still do not have access to water which has seen a drastic reduction in the number of trees being planted. Nurseries has have also seen a considerable decline of seedling survival. This means, there will not be adequate seedling to plant when the rains come in November.
