Confident Step

By Elena Lashkova | International Communications Coordinator

Hello everyone!

Here is project news I received from Project Coordinator Nadejda Smirnova about on of our pupils:

In frame of the project we have developed a rehabilitation program for one of our pupils - Vanya. He is just after an operation and he needs phisical exarcise to prevent possible relaples.

A doctor studies Vanya's case and made a program. It consists of medical gymnastics and course of massage which will help Vanya.

During Summer 2012 with help of independent donors we bought and delivered to Turner Medical Institute 2 sets of exercise equipment needed for rehabilitation of children after surgeries. Many children from city orphanages have their rehabilitation courses in Turnera Medical Institute.

Among the equipment we delivered: baggies for tossing, exercise balls, plastic sculpture mass, finger exserciser, carpal expander, rotating exserciser, etc.
