June, living with her family in a village in Ningxia Pingluo County, at her early age, Jun acted differently from other kids - she stumbled and knocked over things a lot, however parents were too busy making living and usually leaving her alone at home without paying much attention to these. Schoolmates always purposely made fun of her and turning June even more self-isolating and introvert.
When she was four, her relatives realized that her eye problem was getting serious and she had trouble seeing things. Knowing that Orbis underwent a pediatric eye health project at Ningxia Eye Hospital, her father immediately brought June for doctor consultation. Unfortunately, June was diagnosed with congenital cataract.
After June completed the surgery, her surgeon, Dr. Zu told her parents that the post-surgery results were good. Now, June is at grade 3 and is gradually catching up from school. With her sight restored, she becomes energetic and cheerful. June’s father said, “My best and only wish is that June can grow up healthily. Thank you so much for changing her life and making her see again!”
Thank you for making many parents' wishes come true!
