As we communicate in other reports, the Proyectar Sin Fronteras Foundation has begun a series of workshops with women farmers in La Calera. These women are part of our project "Sembrando Confianza Mujeres" and have formed their own association, called ASOMCA. The objective of these workshops is to propose to the participants to develop their knowledge on agroecology, so that they can reproduce this scheme in their own farms. We were able to take advantage of this space to share with them our conception of responsible agriculture, in order to show them what the role of farmers is within this natural system.
On December 1, we held the workshop to present the Environmental Classroom project, for the germination and propagation of native tree species for ecological restoration in La Calera. In this workshop we have the participation of two local experts: María del Rosario and Diana Carolina who shared their knowledge in planting, conservation and restoration. Likewise, we have the presence of the mayor's office of La Calera to officially open a new germination nursery for native species of the region.
Please, follow us on our social media to know more about our projects!
We invite you to support us and to help us to achieve our solidarity goals.
Thank you for reading!
Yours truly,
