It's Great to Be Working Together!

One of our earlier reports referred to how difficult it was to get any solid help (either financial or logistic) for domestic programs from local politicians.  This has been especially troublesome when there has been little solid help from those who, for media purposes, appear to be devoted to the areas we are working in...specifically community outreach to veterans and servicepeople suffering with PTSD and other trauma-related psychosocial disorders.

Fortunately there is a bright spot on this horizon.  Last week we met with representatives from the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Fairfield CT and learned just how badly our services are needed in just the Greater New York area alone.   Two orgnizations in particular,  the Southwest Regional Mental Health board, and the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation have been introduced as avid partners in our efforts to reach anyone, military veteran, police, firemen and rescue personnel, who may have slipped through the cracks of institutional help.

Your continued support of our efforts helps to provide the basic physical needs for these collaborations and enables us to provided needed honoraria to our faculty who donate freely of their time and expertise.  Please see our next report for more news on program implementation and results in New York and Connecticut.

And, as always, Thank you!
