Classes for the Long-Term

Classes continue at three orphanages and for a local women’s group thanks to your support. Lately, we’ve been learning about nutrition, disease prevention, and, in a special class run jointing with EDV partner Global DIRT, women’s health.

The skills both the children and adults in this programme learn will not only help them become healthier in the short term, but learn improved health behaviors that will impact their lives for years to come. Our goal is to help those in the programme learn how to be more self-sufficient and avoid dangerous illnesses like Cholera, Typhoid, and Malaria.

Rather than write the details of our activities, we’ve included a few of our favorite photos that we think really show what these classes and health checks are all about.

Thanks so much for making these classes, and the changes they’ll bring about in the lives of all those who attend them, possible.
