The health center we support provides 24/7 care to a community of over 400,000 in North Haiti, assisting patients with general and specialist services. Our ambulance, one of very few in the region, responds to emergencies throughout Cap-Haitien, and we send doctors and leaders into isolated communities to provide care and health education. The center is staffed with Haitian medical professionals, and we are committed to providing comprehensive and exceptional care to all in the region.
60% of Haitians had little or no access to adequate health care even before the earthquake in 2010. This lack of care has led to many treatable illnesses and diseases like malaria, diarrhea, and malnutrition causing a harrowingly high mortality rate, with Haiti having the highest rate of infant and maternal mortality in the western hemisphere. With an estimated 75% of Haitians living on less than $2US per day, even accessing basic primary health care can be a real struggle for many families.

The center is staffed with Haitian medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, and pharmacists. The center also has an outreach program that sends doctors to isolated communities to provide care and education, and one of Northern Haiti's first 24/7 ambulance services.
Our clinic and ambulance service serve a population of over 400,000 in northern Haiti - responding to an average of 50 emergency calls and seeing between 900-1,000 patients in our clinic every month. We provide outstanding care and partner our services with health and education outreach.
