Community Focus Group (CFG) is establishing a Centre for Excellence dedicated to strengthening leadership, skills development, civic participation, and community transformation. The Centre will provide a safe and accessible space where women leaders, young people, community advocates, and other change-makers can receive practical training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to knowledge and resources.
The Centre will serve as a hub for training women aspiring for leadership and elective positions, with a particular focus on strengthening their capacity to participate confidently and effectively in democratic processes. It will also support initiatives addressing gender-based violence, violence against women in politics, and technology-facilitated violence, helping communities and leaders understand, prevent, report, and respond to emerging forms of violence.
Building the Centre for Excellence is an ambitious undertaking, and your support can help CFG reach this important milestone. Your contribution will help us equip training spaces, develop learning resources, support leadership programmes, and expand opportunities for women and communities to build a safer, more inclusive, and democratic Kenya.
