Malnutrition remains a critical public health issue affecting vulnerable populations, particularly expectant mothers and young children. At BDF we are committed to tackling this challenge through targeted interventions aimed at improving nutritional outcomes in our community.

In line with our objectives, we have initiated steps to establish a partnership with two hospitals to facilitate the provision of antenatal supplements. A formal letter of partnership was written and submitted to the hospitals, proposing a supply of antenatal supplements for a period of five months. This initiative is designed to address the nutritional gaps in pregnant women, ensuring healthier pregnancies and improved birth outcomes. As of today, we are awaiting approval from the hospitals to commence this collaboration.

While this marks a significant step forward, our ability to execute this program fully depends on securing adequate funding. We are actively seeking additional financial support from donors and partners to sustain and expand this initiative. The anticipated funds will not only enable us to supply antenatal supplements but also support broader nutrition programs that address malnutrition across different demographics.

We remain optimistic that with collective effort and sufficient resources, we can make a lasting impact in combating malnutrition in our community. Our commitment to this cause is unwavering, and we trust that the partnerships and funding will align to bring this vision to fruition.
