What better way to share our recent accomplishments than through clients’ feedback?
Since attending CEDPA’s Global Women in Management (WIM) workshop in Washington, DC, Sonia (Mexico alumna) has initiated organizational changes with the help of her coach. She wrote:
“I have re-structured the entire Social Service Department and I have to admit that Carola, my coach, has been a great help. The results have been that students have a much more structured social service, we have increased the number of universities involved, the evaluation and monitoring systems have helped us understand their process, and we have been able to have better communication skills. Carola is a very good coach. She listens, understands and gives good advice, alternatives and options that have helped me understand the issues and make decisions. She is a very nice person, very capable woman and very experienced professional with enormous capabilities and abilities to help me improve, change and develop.”
Suzzy (Ghana alumna) helps women at the grassroots use tools and technologies to advance economic development. She shared with us her feedback of the coaching program:
"Considering every event that unfolds during the workshop, the way forward is simple and clear to me. My goal is to impart all that I have learnt at the Global Women in Management workshop into my work, my colleagues and the communities in which I work. The coaching program and my coach helped me to re-arrange my thoughts and feelings and make sense out of them. It helps me to be more critical in thinking and my coach, Lucy, guided me through the process of exploring new opportunities and keeps me moving forward.”
Suzzy has raised $150,000 to implement projects in 5 regions in Ghana and she has trained 95 women.
Continued support of CEDPA’s coaching program will sustain our critical work ensuring this south-to-south learning.
With great appreciation and thanks,
CEDPA’s Leadership and Capacity Building Team
