Summary of Activities
Since our last report, our initiative has made significant strides in improving accessibility for blind individuals. Through our efforts, we have provided assistive technology, Braille materials, and mobility training to empower visually impaired individuals to live more independently. Our goal is to create an inclusive society where blind individuals can access education, employment, and everyday services without barriers.

Impact Story
One inspiring story is that of a young student who previously struggled in a mainstream school due to a lack of accessible learning materials. With the support of our program, she received a Braille reader and specialized training, allowing her to keep up with her peers. Today, she is excelling academically and has newfound confidence in her abilities. Her journey highlights the importance of closing accessibility gaps and ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Progress and Achievements

• Assistive Technology: 50 individuals received screen-reading software and digital accessibility tools, enhancing their ability to navigate the digital world.

• Braille Literacy: Distributed 100 Braille textbooks and learning materials to visually impaired students.

• Mobility Training: Conducted three mobility workshops, equipping participants with white canes and skills to navigate their surroundings safely.

Looking Ahead
Our next steps include expanding our assistive technology distribution program and launching a mentorship initiative connecting blind individuals with career professionals. Additionally, we will be participating in GlobalGiving’s upcoming matching campaign to secure resources for further impact.
