We have been very busy the past few months and we are very close to turning on the taps. Over the past months all of the water connections have been completed and the pump and tank have been installed. We had a faulty switch in the pump that had to be sent back to Managua that is to be picked up after Christmas and installed later that week but we have already run some tests and the water is flowing properly to all the homes.
The next steps are to run some tests on the water quality and to determine the best way to filter/clean it and to then install the water meters. We expect to have the water running by early 2016.
All funding from Global Giving donations have been spent and the project is fully funded.
We thank you for your generous support!
Sincerely
