Thanks to you, or gracious donors, we have been able to supply over 42,000 diapers to refugee babies across Greece - just this year.
Recently, our Chief Response Officer, Jen Capasso, was able to visit our partners at Love and Serve without Boundaries in Athens, where we continue to supply diapers, over 10,500 this year. Jen met with Maria, who operates both a community facility providing household, clothing, hygiene and other items for refugees, but also a daily daycare while parents look for work, where our diapers are absolutely critical. Maria uses diapers both at the daycare, and to provide to families. At the moment, families recieve 15 diapers a week, if available, but that's 15 total, even if they have multiple kids. Our impact is great, but the need is greater.
In addition - we've supplied 17,435 Diapers Ioannina camp in Greece through Refugee Support Europe, and 15,330 to the Serres camp in Greece through Lifting Hands International.
The need for clean diapers is never ending for refugee babies, but our support will continue as long as there is need.
Thank you for supporting our GlobalGiving campaign to Supply Clean Diapers to Refugee Babies in Greece. Your donation goes directly to our partners who work hands-on with the families they supply.
Because of you, we are able to ensure the comfort, dignity, and safety for refugee babies throughout Greece.
In Solidarity,
Allie
