Carry the Future's longest running program, diaper distribution, and other essential aid, to mothers and children continued at several locations in mainland Greece and the islands. In the last 12 months we distributed 257,000 diapers, 118 strollers, 1206 sanitary pads, and 325 training toilets.
This past year the training toilet program was launched to combat a striking trend our teams noticed: that of older children still wearing diapers because safe, accessible toilets for potty training were unavailable.
Carry the Future continues to supply refugee families and children with supplies that are often overlooked by traditional aid, giving families dignity and much-needed essentials.
