Update on Diapers for Refugee Babies in Greece

Carry the Future continues to be a key provider of diapers in refugee camps and communities in Greece. Diapers continue to be desperately needed, and remain an immensely high priced item for families. Carry the Future works closely with a diaper vendor in Athens, and then systematically orders and delivers in accordance with the needs of the camps and community centers. We then partner with NGOs on the ground who lead distributions.
In 2023, Carry the Future partners with organizations on the ground in Serres, Ioanina and Athens to meet the diapering needs of refugee families. We were just able to extend the amount of diapers in Ioanina thanks to the generosity of our community. We are so grateful for the continued support to allow us to continue with these programs. Thank you for all you do!

July Update on Clean Diapers for Refugee Babies

Carry the Future continues to be focused in 2 areas - diapers for refugee and asylum seekers, and nourishing food for children in schools and learning centers. Today, Carry the Future provides diapers in Greece with 3 specific partners. The first is Love and Serve Without Boundaries, a center providing language classes and childcare to refugees in the Athens area. The second with Be Aware and Share who provide critical aid to families at the Ioannina Camp, and finally with Lifting Hands International at the Serres camp in Northern Greece. Through our diaper distribution partners, we order diapers and have them delivered, making the experience as easy as possible for these partners and the families they serve. Each month or quarter (depending on the partner) they tell us the sizes they need most so can we make a customer order. We feel very fortunate to have wonderful partner organizations in Greece, giving us access to support families in this important way. This is at the center of CTF's mission, and we continue to be grateful for this grant.

Thank you so much for your continual support of Carry the Future. Because of this project, we are a primary supplier of diapers in 2 refugee camps across Greece. The first camp that we are working with is in Ioannina, Greece. We partner with Be Aware and Share in this camp. The second is in Serres camp, and we partner with Lifting Hands International.
This project has also allowed us to continue to provide diapers to the community center and daycare in Athens at Love and Serve with Boundaries.
As we partner with other organizations in Greece, we are able to reach more people and make connections. We have favorable relationships with an Athens based supplier with whom we partner to order and ship diapers. We are honored to provide such important and often expensive items to families across Greece. Carry the Future continues to work hard to make sure that refugee families have access to necessary items to raise their children.
