The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) continues to seek generous donor support to train rural women on the use and benefits of clean cookstoves in Uganda. For many families in rural communities, traditional cooking methods rely heavily on firewood and charcoal, exposing women and children to household smoke while contributing to environmental degradation.
Through this initiative, GIFU aims to equip rural women with practical knowledge about cleaner, safer, and more efficient cooking technologies. Training will help women understand how clean cookstoves can reduce fuel consumption, minimize smoke in homes, protect household health, and save valuable time that women can dedicate to income-generating activities and caring for their families.
Your support can help us reach more women with life-changing knowledge and promote healthier, more sustainable households. Every contribution brings us closer to empowering rural women to become champions of clean cooking in their communities.
Donate today and help us build healthier homes, empowered women, and a cleaner future for Uganda.
