After a second school closing due to Covid restrictions Chikumbuso is back open and full to the brim with activity. A few new additions to our school include a new teacher, after school clubs and a brand new library building!
Chikumbuso has hired a new sixth grade teacher, Howard, who is also a Chikumbuso graduate and sponsored college graduate! We are so happy to have this familiar face back at our community center teaching students whose struggles in life Howard is knowledgeable to address.
Chikumbuso is blessed to top off a full day of classes with a variety of after school clubs. A few of these are: Boyscouts, Choir, Dancing, Reading club, Art club, and Environmental Club. Each club is full of grateful students.
This year we received a donation to build a new library! This was completed last month and is now being enjoyed by the community and used regularly by our GAP year students.
