Our library is up and running and we continue to fill the shelves. As we continue to grow at Ambergris Caye Elementary School we find new ways to utilize our library. This year our library is also hosting a Standard III class of students as we have grown beyond the capacity of our classrooms. So, for those of you who have donated to our library, your money is doing double duty!
Our student body now consists of 93 students and we can proudly say there are no more blended classrooms. Every grade has its own room, even though we are having to use the library as one of the classrooms. Still, the shelves are filling to capacity and students from other classes are able to come to the library during breaks, lunches and before and after school to use the facility as a library.
We are growing and are looking for more opportunities to serve the children of San Pedro. Look for our new project on our Global Giving site which will allow you to help send a child to school! There is no better cause than the education of a child, help build a brighter tomorrow! Give now!
